What are the prerequisites?
I expect that you have an understanding of PeopleTools. You should be able to create a basic classic PeopleSoft page, add it to a component, add the component to a menu, and register the component to the portal. You should be familiar with PeopleCode syntax and control structures, and familiar with events such as RowInit, FieldChange, SaveEdit, etc. But you don't need to be an expert. As long as you have an understanding of these concepts, you will be able to succeed in this course,
What are the hardware and software requirements?
I recommend you follow along with this course by duplicating the examples I demonstrate during the course. To do that, you will need a PeopleSoft environment that you have control over - you should be able to create records, build database tables, modify security. I recommend a PUM instance on your own workstation or laptop. You should also have a SQL tool such as SQL Developer. I'm going to use the Chrome browser in my demonstrations, but any browser should be fine.
What if I have questions that aren't covered in the course?

How do I install a PUM instance?
In this course, I don't show you how to download and install a PUM instance. Oracle has very good documentation, and sometimes the installation process changes from image to image.
